appropriate content and information from our sites or services.

Responsibility of
Parents or Guardians
Ultimately, and due to the easy access to Internet, the responsibility
to limit browsing of certain sites and type of content lays on the
hands of parents or guardians of minors. We strongly encourage parents
and/or guardians to exercise this responsibility. We have provided
pointers on how you can limit the risk of minors viewing inappropriate
content. Parent and/or guardian supervision of the viewing or use
of our sites or services is briefly described in our 'Terms
of Use' in several sections: 'Use
of our websites and Services', and 'Kids
warning'.
Our 'Terms of Use' document requires any person under the age of
18 to be accompanied by a guardian who is over 18. A guardian is
required to accept the conditions of the 'Terms of Use' on behalf
of a minor. You, as a parent or guardian, should take responsibility
for the type of content that the minor is either viewing or posting
on our Site, or for the use of any of our services. Please refer
to our 'Terms of Use' in the sections
'Type of Content Acceptable
' and 'Community Duties and Type
of Content' to have a clear idea of the type of content which
is not acceptable.
If you consider that another user may be in breach of the conditions
contained in our 'Terms of Use', please notify us at policies@b-wave.com.au.

What can you do to
improve your child safety in Internet?
- Please let us know if there is anything else you think we can
do to improve children safety at kidssafety@b-wave.com.au;
- Be alert when supervising your children for any sign of abnormal
behavior. If your child does not wish you to see what she/he is
about, that may be a very normal and important developmental stage,
but also may indicate that something is not right;
- Make sure that minors understand that over the Internet people
may pretend to be other than who they really are. For example,
they may pretend to be a different age or sex;
- Make sure that minors understand that there are risks associated
with physically meeting someone they have met online;
- Make sure that minors understand that they should not give out
any personal information about themselves, their family or friends
such as full names, addresses, telephone numbers, their password
or the name of their school;
- Make sure that minors understand that they should never accept
offers of free or cheap goods without consulting you first.
- Be also alert of any unusual pattern of behaviors at times in
which she/he is not in front of the computer, and try to see if
they are related to Internet; and
- In general, use your common sense and experience.
- Finally, there are a number of software products which you can
use to help protect minors from offensive content. Some of these
are available online, others can be purchased through most computer
retailers. Examples of these products are available online at
http://www.aba.gov.au/family/family/tools.html.
